Getting Ready for Tustin MUN

November 13, 2025

Tustin MUN is coming up on Saturday, November 22nd, so this week was all about getting ready.

Reminders

And as promised, anyone who wins an award gets cookies or another treat!

Your checklist

Before the conference, make sure you're ready with:

  1. Your topic. Know the background, your country's policy, what the UN has already done, and possible solutions.
  2. A 90-second speech. Start with a hook, spend about a third on background, and the other two-thirds on your solutions.
  3. Collaboration. Be ready to work with lots of other countries and be social.
  4. Moderated caucus speeches. Prepare a few short speeches you can give during moderated caucuses.
